Got an A in that Statistics class. I've been out for a couple of weeks now, and I'm enjoying my break. It took me a while to figure out how to relax. I still feel like I should be doing something every time I try.

My birthday is this Wednesday, but it doesn't really feel like it...

I'm thinking about joining the Peace Corps after I finish school. I might try to get a job in a hostpital first, since the more experience you have, the more areas of work you can do. I still want to do Red Cross work, but the more I learn about the Peace Corps, the more it seems like the perfect place for me to do what I've been dreaming of doing. My parents are both supportive of it.

Most of my break has been spent writing. Seriously, I've been churning out a short story or chapter every day. EVERY DAY. I've also made some really good friends online this past month that I really look forward to talking to. They're so supportive and talented.

I've come into some inner battles with my faith lately too. But to make it clear: it is in no way doubting God. That isn't the subject of it at all. It's a moral quandary that I've always had some conflict with, it's just become more pronounced of late.

We finished recording the song my dad and I wrote. The girl who sang it, Breya, is really sweet, and I like her a lot. I love going down to Sopchoppy. The people there are family and they're so real and loving. Also, Andrea (Breya's stepmom) is making shirts with some of the song lyrics to sell in her shop. They'll say "Charm is a deadly weapon". I get to help out with the design soon. We also might be doing a music video for it as soon if Breya can come back for another week.

A man that used to work at my Dad's store from before I was born and until I was around thirteen, died. His name was Roger Bickley. He had a huge impact on who I am, and he's one of the people that got me interested in writing and drawing. I was really devestated, especially with the way my dad broke the news to me. There was a new kitten at the store, and he was telling me that the guys were trying to catch it to give to my mom's friend Missy (she loves cats, and her last one passed away a few months ago) and then he suddenly goes "Oh, and Roger died. See you when I get home!-click- "

What the hell, Dad.
